About the Book

About the Author

John Yelverton is the author of Bills, winner of the First-Place Gold Medal in the 2026 Readers’ Favorite International Book Awards for Fiction – New Adult. Born and raised in Fort Walton Beach, Florida, he lives there with his wife and two children. Inspired by real-life fishing adventures and his lifelong connection to the Gulf Coast, Bills is his debut novel.
