Ditch the kids, grab a friend, order a drink and let someone read to you for once!  Join Katie Penry and Jessica Deese, two moms with a penchant for picture books, for an hour of exploring exceptional children’s literature.   As an outreach of A Friendly Affair, a positive parenting blog, Cocktails and Kid’s Lit will give parents, grandparents and caregivers introduction to a variety of books that help foster healthy attachment, development and a fundamental love of literature.
