The author Leon Maisel is a native and resident of the Gulf Coast. He was a copywriter and a feature writer. A former tourism CEO, Maisel is a history buff, particularly WWII. He is currently a professor at the University of South Alabama and holds a doctorate in Organizational Change and Leadership from the University of Southern California.
