In 2007 our youngest child's life suddenly turned upside down with the beginning of the crippling Disease of Addiction. There progression of the disease divided our family. This memoir tells both the mother and daughters story of struggling with this insidious disease. MC tells her story through her journals over an 8 year period. Marcia tells what it is like to love someone with this disease but not be able to help them.
