She has a great love for animals and, over the years, has provided countless stray dogs and cats with lavish lives of luxury and leisure. Elizabeth's love of animals led her to write Allie Gets Lost. She lives in south Alabama with her two dogs and two cats and enjoys being retired and spending time with family and friends.
