Kaylene De Vries--a mother and grandmother-- is excited to share her faith in her Lord and Savior as well as her passion for art and teaching children. After raising her own children and dedicating 30 years to teaching preschool, she enjoys the art of storytelling. Children love to be told a story! For Kaylene, nothing is as satisfying as reading a book to a child. Kaylene and her husband live near Prairie City, Iowa. Her appreciation for nature and the world around her is the inspiration for this story and these illustrations. The color and balance of her compositions show her intense love of life.
