ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Forever stumped by the question, “Where are you from?” Kathryn Shows has lived in nine states and two countries as both a military child and a military pilot’s wife. Once a member of the Southern Ballet Theater, now the Orlando Ballet, Kathryn later earned a degree in education from San Jose State University and the Montessori Institute of Atlanta, culminating in an impressive supply of moving boxes.

Kathryn has four grown children and currently lives in Fairhope, Alabama with her tirelessly patient husband and their Rhodesian Ridgeback dog who couldn’t corner a kitten.
