Now this is something to look forward to!
There could not be a more fitting author to help celebrate 60 years of Page & Palette.
Fannie Flagg’s first author signing ever was here in 1981 for Coming Attractions, pictured with Betty Joe Wolff, the first generation of our family bookstore. In the 45 years since, we have celebrated every one of Fannie’s books with her. No author has been more celebrated in Page & Palette history.
On Thursday, October 1st at 6PM, Fannie returns to sign her newest release, Something to Look Forward To, alongside Tyler and Tanner Wilson, our fourth generation.
One beloved author. Four generations. Forty five years of signings. Sixty years of Page & Palette.
Some stories could only be written over a lifetime.
On October 1st at 6PM, the bestselling author of Fried Green Tomatoes at the Whistle Stop Cafe will be at Page & Palette to sign and discuss her charming novel, Something To Look Forward To.
This is a ticketed event -- a $10 ticket or a purchase of SOMETHING TO LOOK FORWARD TO is required for admittance. Copies will be available for pick up soon. The first 100 ticket holders will have a seat in the Book Cellar. Everyone else will be able to listen to Fannie speak via TVs and speakers throughout the store.
