Frye Gaillard
Frye Gaillard, former writer in residence at the University of South Alabama, is a Mobile native and the author of more than 30 books. His award-winning titles include A Hard Rain: America in the 1960s and The Southernization of America, coauthored with Cynthia Tucker. Gaillard is a 2025 inductee into the Alabama Writers Hall of Fame. His latest book, released this spring, is Heroes and Other Mortals: Stories of Our Better Angels.
Suzanne Hudson
Suzanne Hudson (rps.hudson@gmail.com) is the internationally and nationally prize- winning author of three novels, a “fictional-ish” memoir, two collections of short stories, and the Truman Capote prize collection. Her short fiction and essays have been widely anthologized. She lives near Fairhope, Alabama, at Waterhole Branch Productions, with her husband, author Joe Formichella.
