Page & Palette Bookstore to Offer Fine Art
After School Workshops for Kids
Page & Palette Bookstore is pleased to announce a new Fine Art After School Program for children ages 7-12 beginning October 1st. Students will have the opportunity to learn acrylic, and watercolor painting, drawing, pastel art, sculpting and other mediums. The artwork will be displayed in the First Friday Art Walk each month.
Classes will be held Monday through Thursday from 3:30 p.m.-5:30 p.m. in the Page & Palette Art Studio upstairs from the bookstore. Students may elect to attend from one to four classes per week. The cost ranges from $80 to $280 per month depending on the number of sessions selected. Prices include all art supplies and an after school snack. Siblings who participate will receive a 10% discount.
Professional artist, E.A. “Genia” Westbrook will instruct the classes. Westbrook has a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree from Auburn University and taught art students in Prattville, Alabama for several years. Before moving to Fairhope last spring, she lived, painted and sold her artwork in New York.

Prices Monthly:
$80-- 1 day per week (4 classes)
$150-- 2 days per week (8 classes)

Page & Palette Fine Art After School Program students will have all art supplies provided. Students will learn Acrylic Painting, Watercolor Painting, Drawing, Pastel Art, Sculpture etc… Students will have their art displayed in the First Friday Art Walk each month.
E. A. Westbrook "Genia," Page & Palettes Fine Art after School teacher, has a Bachelor of Fine Art from Auburn University. Art Director for Parks and Recreation, Genia taught art students in Prattville, Al for several years. Most recently she has been living, painting and selling her art work in New York. Missing the South, she moved to Fairhope last spring and will be teaching and painting at Page & Palette.
