Fairhope, AL, November 2, 2011 – Page and Palette is delighted to present America’s favorite
childrens story, Puff, the Magic Dragon in pop-up book form, through a live performance
from well-known musical artist Peter Yarrow, at The Fairhope Public Library on the 17th of
November at 4:00pm.

Puff, the Magic Dragon, the million-copy bestselling book based on the timeless Peter, Paul &
Mary song, springs off the page in a new charming interactive pop-up book for children. With
narration by Peter Yarrow, a musical recording of the song, and engaging multi-dimensional
animation, an audio CD is also included that will delight children and inspire them to travel
together with Puff and his friend Jackie Paper to the magical land of Honalee.

Peter Yarrow will be performing this magical hit at The Fairhope Library in honor of the new
pop-up book release. In addition, there will also be a FREE signed children’s guitar to be
raffled at the event, courtesy of Mr. Yarrow himself. Raffle tickets will be given as people
enter. Customers must be present at the event to win.

Sponored by The Little Gym, this event is the perfect family outing right before Fairhope’s
annual Lighting of the Trees! Fun for both adults and kids, this story is sure to be brought to life

through Peter Yarrow’s ability to inspire the child in all of us through song!

“The fact that other people sing it is always lovely," Yarrow says. "But the real compliment
comes when I'm on stage and I will call kids on stage, inevitably there are three and four-year-
olds and they're actually singing the words, they know the words all the way through - and this
song is celebrating its 50th birthday - that's pretty remarkable."
