Page & Palette along with the Eastern Shore Art Center presents a new addition to the 2011 Grand Festival of Arts & Books in downtown Fairhope from 9am-5pm.

The first annual Grand Festival of Bookswill be Friday, October 8 and Saturday, October 9, 10a.m. to 5 p.m., onDe La Mare Street in Downtown Fairhope.  This inaugural event will beheld in conjunction with the 29^th annual Grand Festival of Art, lining the streets of Fairhope with beautiful works of art AND literature.

Admissionis FREE!  Booklovers of all ages will have the opportunity to interactwith exceptional writers, poets and storytellers and enjoy an inspiringvariety of book-related activities, exhibitions and demonstrations.Highlights include:

• For readers- The Festival will feature appearances, discussions, and book signings by local and regional authors, including award winners and dozens of national best-selling authors.

• For children of all ages – The morning of Sat will be exclusive to children’s and young adult authors

• For Cookbook lovers – Sunday, Oct 9^th, exclusive to cookbook authors and food sampling!
